I’m Jess: licensed architect, founder of Marian, and the person you’ll be working with from the first conversation through the final walkthrough of your space.

I started Marian after nearly 15 years in architecture working on homes, resorts, a museum, and even a fire station-turned-restaurant. Marian is built around an idea I’ve seen proven on every project: a well-designed space outlasts trends, timelines, and budgets. The way a space fits the people in it matters long after the design decisions are made. That’s the part I love the most: getting to know the people and then designing something that is uniquely them.

I grew up in the Midwest and studied architecture at the University of Michigan before making my way to Los Angeles. These days, I live in the Del Rey neighborhood with my husband, daughter, and a couple of pets in a house that, like most architects’ houses, has a running list of its own future projects.
