I’m Jess: licensed architect, founder of Marian, and the person you’ll be working with from the first conversation through the final walkthrough of your space.

I started Marian after nearly 15 years in architecture working on homes, resorts, a museum, and even a fire station-turned-restaurant. Marian is built around an idea I’ve seen proven on every project — a well-designed space outlasts trends, timelines, and budgets. The way a space fits the people in it matters long after the design decisions are made. My favorite thing about my role is getting to know the people and then designing something that is uniquely them.

I grew up in the Midwest and studied architecture at the University of Michigan before making my way to Los Angeles. These days, I live in the Del Rey neighborhood with my husband, daughter, and a couple of pets in a house that, like most architects’ houses, has a running list of its own future projects.
