Marian Architecture is a Los Angeles design studio founded by Jessica Marian Christensen on a simple belief: good design starts with people, not plans. Before we ever sketch a wall, we want to understand how you'll actually use a space — how you move through your mornings, where everyone ends up gathering, what you want to feel when you walk in the door.

From there, we design spaces with intention — how they flow, how the light moves through them, how they sit in their neighborhood and their context. Not necessarily to make a statement, but to make something that fits: a space with real character that could only belong to the people it was made for.

We're not the studio with a signature style waiting to be applied to your project. We're the one that listens first, explains as we go, and stays beside you the whole way.
