A place to storyboard and store boards, this studio gives two working artists something their house couldn't: somewhere creative work and creative mess have room to live. Plywood walls double as pin-up space, skylights and clerestory windows keep the workbenches bright all day, and sliding glass doors open the whole studio to the yard. Every inch pulls its weight, right up to the rafters, where the exposed beams moonlight as surfboard storage.
